Happy Friday! It seems the cold weather is back, but we’re not going to let that stop from enjoying our weekend. We’re taking Finley to Chapel Hill to stock up on our national championship gear and visit some of our favorite spots. We’re also gearing up for Holy Week activities at church. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! XO

Hey friends! It’s Friday, and I’m so, so thankful. It’s been a week. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’m feeling tired and overwhelmed and way behind at the end of this week. TGIF, am I right?!? I’m headed out of town today for a women’s retreat with my church, and I’m looking forward to some time of rest and renewal.  It’s much needed! XO

Happy Friday! It has been a crazy week around here, so this weekend is about fun, lounging, and naps with Finley.  I’ve got no plans other than a date night to see La La Land and lunch with my bestie from Chicago who is passing through town on her way to see family (YAY!!!). I hope you all have a great weekend, too. XO

Hello friends! It’s Friday, and I know today is a hard and sad and scary day for a lot of us. The last few months have been incredibly difficult and divisive for our country, so today (more than ever) it’s important that we choose love. Today I’m taking a break from social media and keeping my tv turned off. Today is not the day to engage in more hate and hurt. We’ll be traveling some this weekend to see friends, but I’ll be following along with what’s going on with the women’s march in D.C. tomorrow (and others across the country).

Let’s stand together, friends—for love and peace and for those who can’t stand up for themselves. We got this. XO

Hey there! I hope you’ve had a fantastic Friday. So far I’ve voted and gone to Ikea, so I’m feeling pretty accomplished going into the weekend. My mom and I are in Charlotte this weekend for the Belong Tour, and I am so pumped! I cannot wait to hear Shauna Niequist and Jen Hatmaker speak, and I’m pretty excited to spend some time with my mom, too. Hope you all have a great weekend! XO

  • Pam Beesly for the win. Always.
  • Love, love, love this from Shauna Niequist. Love asks what’s best for the person you love, not what’s best or most convenient for you.
  • I’m thinking a blue front door might be in my future. Which shade is your favorite?

Hello friends! We are so excited to be in Chicago this weekend visiting my best friend….and Bryan is super excited that the world series is in town. We won’t be at the game, but we’ll be in Wrigleyville cheering on the Cubs and hanging out with some of our favorite people in the whole world. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, too! XO

Happy Friday! It’s been a pretty quiet week around here, and for that I am very, very thankful! This weekend I’m going shopping with my mama and seeing Ben Rector. Hoping you all have a fabulous weekend, too! XO

  • So much wisdom here: Why I’m Prejudiced and So Are You. “We do not have a black problem. We do not have a white problem. Identity in blackness or whiteness alone is a problem. We have a Human Family problem. We are all being poisoned, and so are our children. We have got to come together to help clear the air so we can all breathe. This is going to require serious people who are humble about what they have become.  This moment is not asking us: are we racist or not? This moment in our country’s history is asking us: Are we humble or not? Do we have eyes to see what we have become and the courage it takes to unbecome?”
